My buddy Toby and I went to have a look at an old mine where they harvested Kisel a 100 years ago.
It’s pretty cool, the effort needed to get it all done. Some people working in the mine. Some people transporting it by horse down to the lake. Some people taking it across the lake by boat. Some people unloading it from the boat and then loading it on the train. Some people.. and so it goes on.
To me. Hard manual labour hurts. But. I’m impressed by the people that can endure it. And. I’m happy that it’s finally starting to pay of. Thanks to fewer people that are actually willing to get their hands dirty, the ones that does are getting a more proper payday out of it. That’s good. (in Sweden that is)
