I find them better with distance though. Not so cold from down here:
I’m in San Tropez now. Very of season but still some pretty nice surroundings. I like that. Impressed by how green it is even though it’s mid November.
In the hills you find Val D’Aosta. Popular place for winter sports with many very nice peaks. There are also some old Roman roads and buildings making it a popular cabin market. Ski cabins and real estate up there is more expensive than most real estate in Scandinavia. Weird considering there is no money being earned up there besides the tourism.
