A few friends and I visit a new eastern European cities every year. This time, we went to Riga in Latvia. A beautiful city, but much more expensive than other cities we have visited. That took some fun away. I also found it suprising giving that the median income in Latvia is just €600/ month.
As for Real Estate in Riga, I think there are some great investments in the Moscow district. There are tons of beautiful 2-story wooden houses that could easily be restored to create a beautiful place to live really close to the cities old-town.
