There are of course many ways to make money on Real Estate developments. This time I got paid for merging the builder with the land owner. I got paid by the builder for finding a potential development that he could get started on right away. The land I found was zoned for the type structures he wanted to build and he could therefor have the project done in about 1 year.
The key is to know what developers are looking for, then use that knowledge to find it before they find it themselves. Be creative and look at places other might have missed. You could for example look for a small house in poor condition on a good lot that allows for a bigger structure? Divide land in smaller parcels? Maybe someone you know sits on land?
