They have them on Top Gear. Now I’m sort of doing it myself. I bought an old Toyota that I’ll use to drive south. Not sure how far I’m going yet, but would be cool to leave Europe and enter either Asia (through Turkey) or Africa (through Marocko). We’ll see.
The car is pretty rubbish. Started off with getting it road legal, then installed a new generator and then, to make it a bit more special, added a solar panel for unlimited power supply to the phone and computer.
It’s still rubbish, but Toyotas are known for being solid so I hope it might help me reach some warmer weather. If not I’m giving it away for a plain ticket, because I WANT SUN!
